It all depends. I know that is a common response, but in this case it does apply. Many projects do not need permits such as residential backyard concrete projects (walk ways, slabs to place sheds, or pavers). On the other hand if you intend to do an addition to your home you will need various permits such as foundation permits, retaining wall permits, and the like.
Again, it all depends. But, in my experience my projects can last as short as one week and as long as three months. This is my general time frame for getting any project completed.
